I remember visiting Americana once when I … I remember visiting Americana once when I was very young. The memory is not very clear, as I was probably only five or six. What I do remember is the giant slide, and that I got a major case of road rash going down it. I think it was on my leg, and I do remember that it hurt the rest of the day. Hopefully others will have better memories to share! others will have better memories to share!,

Leave us a voicemail of what you …
Leave us a voicemail of what you remember - 888.910.2555
It's more fun than you think ... and don't think about it too much. Just pick up the phone and recount whatever you can. Take a chance. We're partnering with WYSO, and we want to put your memories on the air. d we want to put your memories on the air.,
I remember Greg D. and myself had went to … I remember Greg D. and myself had went to Fantasy Farm with his parents and little sister for the day. I'm pretty sure it was more for the benefit of his sister than us, as we were both around 16 years old and a bit too "mature" for that "kiddie" place in our eyes. What I remember most was that the place was on the last legs, with several rides/attractions closed and others looking like they should be. There was hardly a crowd there to be found and we kind of had the run of the park in a lot of ways. The memory of the day that sticks out is that we wandered into a dark wooden cave (I have no idea what this attraction used to be, but it looked like it was closed or abandoned by 1987) and hung out in there scaring ourselves and any teenage girls who came ambling through. After we went home we watched the Louie Anderson stand up special on Showtime and laughed ourselves silly. The whole way home we discussed how dirty George Micheal's song " I Want Your Sex" was. To be a kid again... I Want Your Sex" was. To be a kid again...
