We were newly weds, and my husband was home on leave from the U. S. Navy. We went to Ocean View to ride the roller coaster. I was used to the mild ride at Buckroe Beach, VA. This roller coaster was so scary and a really rough ride. When we went down the first hill, I screamed and buried my head in my husband's lap. Two men in the seat in front of us turned around and grabbed my hands. At first they laughed until they realized I was really horrified! They held my hands for the entire ride. What a ride that was. My husband hugged me for a long time while I shook and cried.
